There can be very few people who have  not heard of 'The Oldest Swinger in Town' .  Well let it be known that he's still swinging and knocking audiences dead wherever  he performs !   

These days he may be found increasingly as an after dinner speaker in the civilised surroundings of hotels where he specialises in corporate events and functions. Not that he is going 'soft'. For he still enjoys reminding younger people what a true 'old folkie' can do at festivals, folk clubs and country shows.   His wide repertoire of jokes and stories is accompanied by a great guitar and many,  often self-penned, songs.

Fred has recorded more than 20 L.P's and singles and had over 60 songs published.

He has over thirty years experience of regular performing and has appeared many times on TV  in such shows as' Top of the Pops', 'Pebble Mill', 'Children in Need' and 'Breakfast TV' .  His many radio appearances have included 'The Steve Wright Show', 'Ackers Away' (with Acker Bilk) and the Noel Edmonds Show'.
