Start of 28 years full-time singing with her late partner Bridie in the duo  'Jacqui and Bridie' travelling widely in Britain, Europe and North America. 

In 1961 founded a folk club in Liverpool which still continues

Made numerous national radio and TV appearances including 'You and Me'.

For five years "drove" a weekly 2 hour show on Radio Merseyside.

Recorded 14 LP's .

Sang in Royal Command Performance for H.M. Queen Elizabeth 2nd.

Since 1992 has been a solo performer.  She runs weekly folk clubs in Liverpool and Chester, and her monthly concert series have, so far, included Tom Paxton, Ralph McTell and Harvey Andrews. 

She has recorded three solo tapes and continues to perform at other folk venues, concerts, colleges, schools and PTA's.

She tours each autumn in the USA and, in 1994, sang in folk clubs and festivals in New Zealand and Australia.

"Jacqui" includes traditional and contemporary songs, tales and unique dancing dolls.

Jacqueline has written many songs and is well described as 'Merseyside's First Lady of Folk'.  She has a richness of experience, wit, quality and humour that few can match.

A tradition in her own right !
